Demand for a physically smaller analogue addressable panel has prompted the development of the F100A-Mini Panel, which has two analogue addressable loops and room for a pair of 7.5 Amp-hour batteries.
The smaller, 410mm high cabinet offers several benefits for smaller multi-zone installations.
Wall space on many projects is hard to come by. The fire alarm panel competes for space with security, plant equipment, sprinklers, IT, telecommunications, and so on. The mini cabinet leaves more room for other services.
Occasionally in NZ and in export markets such as Fiji there is a requirement for the panel to be mounted outdoors. The F100A-Mini fits into a smaller weather-proof enclosure than our larger panels, which leads to a significant cost saving.
Often on smaller multi-zone systems, we find that analogue addressable technology is more economic than a conventional system, because the analogue addressable system needs less cabling. Reduced cabling cost offsets the higher cost of analogue addressable detectors. The F100A-Mini fits in the same wall space as our 410 mm F16 and F16e conventional panels. It’s small enough to replace many other conventional panels.
The F100A-Mini can monitor up to 198 detectors and 198 input or output devices such as manual call points. The system may have up to 128 physical zones. It is compatible with our F100A peripherals. There is room for one optional module, such as a 50 Watt evacuation amplifier.
The Pertronic F100A-Mini is an excellent choice for small to medium-sized multi-zone projects.
