The Pertronic F40 was a fire alarm control panel for larger facilities, introduced in 1991.

This panel featured addressable detection technology, which assigned a unique digital address to each small group of fire detectors.

In the event of a fire, the addressable technology allowed the F40 to clearly identify the source of the alarm signals.

This panel was superseded by the F100.
