The New Zealand pavilion at the World Expo in Shanghai China in 2010 provided an opportunity for New Zealand to make a favourable impression on a huge audience in one of the world's fastest growing economies. Pertronic fire alarm equipment provided fire safety for this iconic venue.
Mr. Key was also interested to learn that Pertronic had a growing business in China and supplied a F120 analogue addressable fire alarm system for the NZ Pavilion at the Shanghai Expo 2010, where he is due to visit the 2,000 sq. metre complex in July. Mr. Key said the Pavilion represents a significant investment by NZ in trade and tourism development with China and he is delighted that a NZ-owned company was involved in supplying equipment to the construction project.
